Week 3
Clay (in the orange) playing baseball with the other Elders in his area. Clay said that he didn't know he was so good at baseball, he said he should've played it in High School. (Something the doctor told us he could never do because of his eye sight) He got road rash from sliding bases.
The last several pictures are from the hike that Clay and his companions went on. Most of the pictures are of the Mississippi River. Clay said they call these hills Mountains, but they really don't know what mountains are. LOL
The Mountain Dew wall. Clay said this was there before he came. They don't touch this wall now and just throw the Mt. Dew cans away now.
He said his diet pretty much just consists of Mac & Cheese, frozen pizzas and Mt. Dew.
He did say that a member fed them this week and it was fried chicken....the best fried chicken that he had ever had.
Clay is loving every minute of his mission. He loves his companions and all the other companions they hang out with around the area. He said they have the nicest apartment out of all the missionaries around because his apartment use to belong to sister missionaries and senior missionaries. He said all the other apartments are dirty and disgusting. He and his companions try to keep apartment as clean as possible. Right now he is busy doing service projects, playing sports and board games with other missionaries and trying to get as many lessons in as possible. They only got 7 this week, the goal is 17. They aren't allowed to go to church still and they don't even have zoom meeting church still. He said because the Mayo Clinic is in Rochester, they are extra strict about that kind of stuff.
He said life is a party there and he loves everyday.
